Mizoram man killed the wife who wasolated in a suicide bombing

Aizawl: A 62-year-old man allegedly killed his wife who wasolated in a suicide bomb attack in South Mizoram Lunglei City at 12:15 a.m.
on Tuesday, said Lunglei District Supervisor from Police Rex Vanchawg.
The source said the man, Rohmingliana, was the second husband of the victim, Tlangthianghlimi (61).
They were separated almost a year ago.
The incident occurred in front of the Lunglei District High District Committee (Lunglei District Planning Council), where Tlangthianghlimi sold vegetables along with his 40-year-old daughter from his first marriage.
Eyewitnesses said Rohmingliana first sat next to Tlangthanghlimi and asked him to roll up local cigarettes.
“After he turned on the cigarette, Rohmingliana pretended to be dizzy because of a fever and suddenly pounced, followed by a loud explosion,” an eyewitness said.
According to Vanchhawng, Gelatin used in a suicide bomb, allegedly hidden in his clothes.
Both Rohmingliana and Tlangthanghlimi rushed to the nearest Lunglei district hospital where they were declared dead.
After autopsy, their bodies were sent to the village of Thiltlang, about 73 km north of Lunglei.
However, the woman’s daughter was not hurt in the explosion.
The couple has two sons and husbands known as cruel men.
