Trichy: Deputy Chancellor of the University of Madurai Kamaraj M Krisnan has been appointed as Deputy Chancellor of the Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN), Tiruvarur.
The appointment was made by Indian President Ram Nath Kovind on Thursday, almost 11 months after former Representative of Chancellor a Dash Dash.
His ownership as Deputy Chancellor MKU ended on January 2, 2022.
Krishnan, 65, has now been appointed as the Chancellor of Chancellor Cutn for a period of five years from the date of assuming or until he reaches 70 years old.

The five member selection committee led by former Commissioner of the Main Election N Gopalaswami, who is the Chancellor of the National Sanskrit University (Tirupati), submitted five names for the VC Cutn post in January this year.
