Chandrapur: MLA Pratibha Dhanorgar has increased pressure on the Forestry Department to capture Tigress creating problems along Sitarampeth, Condegaon and Mudholi route in the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve buffer zone (TADR).
Dhanorgar held a meeting with administrative officials and the Ministry of Forestry for this issue on Friday and demanded the direct arrest of Tigress problems.
He claimed that the appearance of tigers had increased along the route Sitarampeth-Mudholi-Bhamdheli in the TATR buffer zone.
There are thick forests along the road and wild animals suddenly stepping out on the road, surprising tourists.
He showed that a Shepherd Namo Dhande was killed in a Tigress attack near SukaPeth in February 3.
Saying that people in the nearest villages were afraid to go out in the fields, he demanded direct action by Tadoba officials.
Dhanorgar suggests that officials must send proposals to capture the TIGREST problem to PCCF for approval.
Officials convinced immediately.
MLA will visit the problem area with senior forest officers on Saturday to take stock situation.
