Chennai: Thousands of Lights MLA Dr.
N ezhilan has opened the facilitation center in his office to help people seek tickets to their children in private schools under the laws of rights to education.
This center will help them register on the RTE portal.
Many do not realize the portal and registration process.
Some parents approach private schools around them directly to seek acceptance under the RTE law.
However, some schools found all possible ways to refuse to enter the applicant.
According to action, 25% of the seat of intake capacity must be allocated to students from poor families.
Knowing practical difficulties, MLA launched a campaign in his office on July 14.
“This campaign aims to fill the large digital gap between The Have and not.

R Sathish from Valluvar Kudiyiruppu in constituency is one of the applicants.
He registered with the help of the facilitation center.
“I’m worried about my child’s education.
He studied at MCC school and now goes to class I.
But I’m not in a position to pay a fee because I don’t get ordinary work after a pandemic.
After I know about the facilitation center at the MLA office, I approached them .
Coordinator updated the status of the application and feel confident to secure the entry for my child under RTE, “Sathish said, which was a producer of daily wages.
Documents required for RTE registration: photos of students, birth certificates, aadhaar cards / parents or guardians, income certificates for weaker part candidates, community certificates for unlucky group candidates and less fortunate group categories certificates.
