MLC poll: 5,699 of 6,040 voters fully vaccinated

Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada District Administration has made all preparations for the smooth selection of the election of the bicameral constituency that has 6,040 voters.
According to the data available with the Election Commission, from 6,040 voters, 5,699 was fully vaccinated, 300 had taken one dose and 41 was not vaccinated.
However, all voters will be allowed to use their franchise.
A total of 389 voting stations, including 231 in Dakshina Kannada and 158 in Udupi, will be formed to carry out elections, which will determine the fate of the Srinivas City Social Welfare Minister, Congress’ Manjunath Bhandari and SDPI Ismail Shafi K.
There are 3,535 Members of Gram Panchayat ( GP) from Dakshina Kannada and 2,505 from Udupi who can choose in elections to select two MLCs of constituencies that have 377 GPS, including 223 in Kannada and 154 in Udupi.
The election process for the election of the electoral district of Local Authority Dakshina Kannada was held under the guidance of deputy commissioner v Rajendra.
DC visits Mangaluru, Bantwal and Puture shooting centers on Thursday.
Officer Chairperson, Voting Officers and Group D employees collect ball, sound paper, ink, rubber and stationary stamps from the destruction centers.
In Udupi, Deputy Commissioner M Kurma Rao visited the destruction center.
He said the udupi district had 2,505 voters.
“All arrangements have been made to conduct elections in 158 voting stations.
We will ensure the selection will be made for free and fair in the district.
Each polling station will have trained micro observers.
Preparations have also been made for videograph processes at each polling station According to EC, “Rao said.
The election of the city of Panchayats Election Commission will hold elections to Vitla and Kotekar Kota Panchayats in Dakshina Kannada District on December 27.
DC KV Rajendra said the December 8 was the date of the election notice, December 15 was the last date to submit their nomination, and they could attract papers on December 18.
The election will be held from 7am to 5pm on December 27.
The sound will be counted in each of the Taluk’s headquarters on December 30, he said.
