Bengaluru: After weeks of speculation, and the days before the selection of MLC from local agencies, Janata Dal (secular) has decided to sit on the fence by declaring a firmly no alliance with BJP or Congress.
However, the party has requested local leadership to make decisions to who supports the segment where JD does not fight.
“The party has officially decided not to enter the Alliance with BJP or Congress in the seat where the party fights.
However, we have asked for local leadership to make decisions about who supports in places where JD does not fight.
This decision Must consider the success of the party in the 2023 general election where JD has set a target of 123 seats, “said the leader of the HD Kumaraswamy assembly floor.
Twice the former CM said JD (s) support was sought by BJP, with a senior leader of the Safron B Yediyurappa party had personally called him on the cellphone and asked for JD support in those places not fighting.
“While the congress has rejected support from JD, BJP has not yet searched for our alliances.
Only Yediyurappa made a polite attraction to me because it supported the BJP candidate where we did not fight.

Previously, Yediyurappa who was hopeful was looking to improve his pride in places where BJP was in a direct battle with Congress.
“Even though there is no alliance talk, I hope that JD will support us in places where it doesn’t fight,” he said.
