Madurai: Three family members, including a child, died when their car traveled falling into the canyon near Kodaikanal in Tamil Nadu on Friday night.
According to the police, Gokul, an advocate from the Madurai district, returned from Kodaikanal with his wife, daughter, mother-in-law and a friend on Friday night.
The accident occurred near Adukkam because of poor visibility on the road because there was a fog.
The car fell from the road to the 300-foot canyon.
Gokul’s wife, child and mother-in-law died in place.
Gokul and his friend suffered injuries.
The friend climbed back to the road and told the police.
Police and fire officials and rescue officials reached the place and rub Gokul and restore the body.
Gokul and his friend were treated at Medical College Medical Hospital.
