Mumbai: A 40-year-old woman has registered complaints against her husband, vice president at a famous financial company, accusing him forced him to be unnatural sex, and also accused his in-laws and other family members.
Harassing it for Dowry, a police officer said on Thursday.
According to officials, the victim, who worked in a multi-national company, had approached the Powai police station on the outskirts of Mumbai with his complaint.
Based on complaints, where he has named eight family members for dowry harassment, FIR is registered in the relevant section of the Indian Criminal Code (IPC), including 498-a (husband or relative of a husband from a woman who made him atrocities) and 377 (no violation Naturally) on August 17, he said.
There is no arrest that has been made so far and investigations are underway, officially more.
In his statement to the police, the woman said she was married in May 2013.
After the marriage, her in-laws, brother-in-law and other family members began to harass it for dowry and her husband too, used to support them, police said, quoted from complaints.
The woman said she financially helped her husband and other family members still attacked on several occasions.
The victim, in complaints, claimed that her husband and other family members persuaded him to part with gold jewelry and cash worth around Rs 1.5 Crore on behalf of storage.
The woman also accused her husband forced him to be unnatural sex, police said.
Fed up with their daily harassment and her husband’s behavior, he decided to file a complaint, they said.
The woman, a twin mother, currently lives with her parents, the official said.
