Kalyan: Amit Thackeray, Leader of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) and Head of the Raj Thackeray Party, on Friday visiting Dombivli.
Amit Thackeray is visiting two days to twin cities ahead of the Selection of Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC).
However, to avoid holes on the road during his trip, the MNS leader went to Dombivli with a local train from the omelet.
Speaking to the media, Amit Thackeray targets Shiv Sena, the ruling party in KDMC, and said, “It is unfortunate that Shiv Sena ruled in Kalyan-Dompivli for the past 25 years but they could not provide a good way”.
He then claimed that in Nashik they made a way six to seven years ago and still you cannot find one hole.
“I want to beg public to not choose such people who cannot provide a good way to the public,” he added.
During his visit, Thackeray along with other Senior MNS leaders Nitin Sardesai, Raju Patil, Amey Khopkar held a meeting of all important local party leaders from Kalyan and Dombivli.
In Maharashtra, MNS only has one MLA from Kalyan rustic assembly and 9 Corporators in KDMC.
