Krafton has begun to launch updates version 1.8 for the Indian mobile battlegrounds.
Updates now live for all BGMI players on Android and iOS devices.
Krafton has mentioned that updates will be launched in sequence through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store and may need a few moments to reach all players throughout the country.
BattleGrounds Mobile India Update 1.8: Features of updates introduce some new features, new classic game modes and new user interfaces for games.
With updates, new Livik: Aftermh theme will be available for players until February 14.
As part of a new theme for Livik, the map has changed after the volcano eruption and snow destruction.
The map now gets a new ZIP line that allows players to quickly jump between two locations.
Apart from new changes on the Livik map, the update also includes a variety of new events, celebrating collaboration.
Update version 1.8 also brings major changes to the matchmaking process of the game.
For the first time, Krafton has separated ranking and normal matches.
That means, ranked match players will not be paired with a normal match player.
The updated UI is also part of version 1.8 which carries a cleaner and nuances that are cleaner and minimalist on the game.
In addition, players will be able to enjoy a new mechanical game from the supply store in classic mode, which will be available throughout the map.
Players can exchange coins from booty to supply items from the store.
Finally, there will be a massive increase in the parachute mechanism when landing, with all new tools to mark when you want to get off on the map.
