New Delhi: Indian drug regulators can immediately provide a limited emergency use authorization for modern Covid-19 vaccines, official source words on Tuesday.
Moderna also informed that the US government had agreed to contribute a number of Doses of Moderna Covid-19 vaccine through Covax to the Indian government to be used and have been seeking approval from the Central Control of Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) for this vaccine.
Mumbai Cipla-based pharmaceutical company, on behalf of the US Pharmaceutical Major, has requested the authorization of import and marketing from Jab.
According to sources, agreement tends to come at any time because CDSCO supports doing so.
