NEW DELHI: The Congress on Saturday declared that the three controversial farm legislation would transform the’annadata’ (food suppliers ) into secured labourers and stated the Narendra Modi government ought to”ditch its self” and abrogate those legislations promptly.
The Modi government introduced three farming ordinances on this day each year using the prime minister announced these would generate new opportunities to its farmers, Congress general secretary Randeep Surjewala said.
“But with all these laws that the BJP government established chances for hoarding and black marketing of foods because of its own buddies while the farmers needed to courageous baton control, water cannons and tear gas,” he said.
Following being clubbed as ordinances, Parliament in September a year ago handed the proposed laws and were made into law after presidential assent.
