Mohali: Deputy Commissioner Isha Kalia has issued orders for closing all fountains and other water bodies in various parks and gardens in the midst of a rupture of dengue fever which caused 135 sick people on Wednesday.
A civil surgeon said Dr.
Adlahshpal Kaur said 248 suspected samples were tested where 135 was confirmed, took the calculation to 1,111 with nine deaths.
Especially, cases emerged from phase 3B1, IV and V of Mohali Urban and several colonies in Zirakpur and Derabassesi.
