New Delhi: Delhi Government has come up with the first modular and portable Mohalla clinic, made by the factory.
There are plans to create more clinics in the future.
The first two clinics at Shakur Basti at Rani Bagh from North Delhi were air-conditioned and had a sleek look with partial glass walls.
“We have made more than 500 mohalla clinics and two modular as it comes from the factory.
This is a new concept,” said Minister of Health Satyendar Jain during his visit on Sunday.
Modular clinics have been built in the shipping container, making it easier for them to be installed in certain locations compared to building the Mohalla clinic.
It will also be easier to install in a solid residential area.
