Thiruvananthapuram: Controversial naturopath Mohanan Nair, popularly called Mohanan Vaidyar, 65, died here on Saturday.
According to sources, Vaidyar was staying at a house at Thalyil close Karamana to the past few days.
He complained of uneasiness and gut ache during the night and dropped.
He was promptly accepted to Thiruvananthapuram Government Medical College in 9:20pm.
However, the doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Observing this, the authorities was alerted.
Karamana police stated the citizens of Thalyil home claimed to be his own loved ones.
Vaidyar had courted controversies frequently with his position against contemporary medication.
This past year, once the Covid-19 instances were beginning to have reported from the country, he had been detained by Thrissur police for distributing misinformation as he maintained he could heal Covid.
He was also reserved by Alappuzha authorities just two years ago for allegedly inducing passing of an 18-year-old lady, who had been under his therapy.
