Vadodara: Investigation of the loss of Raju Bhatt has revealed that he was assisted by his friend Kanji Mokariya, who managed the Director of the Courier Company.
Mokariya was arrested by Crime Branch on Monday night because it helped Bhatt escape from the city.
The police said that Mokariya had taken Bhatt to Ranoli Highway a few days ago to ‘settle out the rape problem through several colleagues.
“From there, Mokariya dropped Bhatt at Ahmedabad in his own car,” the police said.
Senior police officers said that Mokariya knew the girl since last year.
“Mokariya has a Harmony hotel in the city.
The girl has stayed at the hotel last year for 20 days during locking.
He was introduced to Mokariya by his friend Pranav Shukla, a small businessman, last year.
Mokariya then introduced it to Bhatt,” Police added.
Official investigations said that Mokariya also tried to attack the compromise between the girl and Bhatt some time ago.
But the arrest of mokariya before the key allegations can be traced to surprise many people in the police department, because he was not accused or the girl had made allegations against him.
