Mom Won’t give Cash, Kota Guy climbs on Electricity line

KOTA: Annoyed with his mom for not committing cash to pay back a charge of Rs 500, a 35-year-old labourer increased atop a high-tension electricity line near Goberia Bawadi beneath Anantpura police station on Sunday morning to commit suicide, but couldn’t because provision has been discontinued at the nick of time.
Raju Singh Tanwar was afterwards brought down after persuasion by authorities and acquaintances.
He was arrested for violation of public consent, reserved to try to commit suicide and has been made in front of a court that delivered him to judicial custody.
The misadventure of scaling a water tank, portable tower or higher tension power rod to have some need fulfilled has come to be a fad in Kota these times as four such events have happened in the previous 17 days.
Tanwara native to Sarthal region in Jhalawar district who was employed as a labourer in a building site in Kota, had increased a power line nearby Goberia Bawadi, group inspector Pushpender Jhanjhadiya stated.
First investigation into the issue showed that the childhood, an alcoholic, had made Rs 500 out of his fellow labourer and has been finding it tough to settle.
He asked his mom for the sum to pay off the loan, she denied, stated Jhanjhadiya.
