There are only a few artists in India who have devoted themselves to Sarangi (Indian bowed instrument as high as two feet, with three or four main strings and up to thirty-five sympathetic strings), and Momin Khan Sarangi is one of them.
He is part of the ribbon Arijit Singh and is also known for his solo performances around the world.

Tell us about your experience working with Arijit Singh?
Arijit Singh is undoubtedly the world-famous musicians; Her talent is God gifted.
What makes it more special is the behavior that is humble and down to earth.
She was very caring and ensuring the comfort of the entire force.
One thing he’s very special, is the time, discipline and training.
He did a lot of things for people, especially poor children.
There is so much to learn from him – how to be a good musician and a good man.
You have worked with big banners like Yash Raj films and Sanjay Leela Bhansali Productions.
Tell me about your project with them.
It was an incredible experience working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
I am very grateful to God that I got this great opportunity at that age and I have learned many new things.
What is the biggest challenge for musicians today?
Due to the prevailing pandemic, we have seen the growth of content / digital music.
That is why the competition is at its peak.
However, people are here for good music.
How do you look back on your journey so far?
There is a tremendous hard work and it continues even today, and it will be tomorrow as well.
While I was pleased with the way things are set up, I know it’s a long road ahead, and I look forward to it.
I regard every step of my life as a time of learning and it made me a lifelong student.
Who are the biggest influences on you during your growth?
Father-Cum-Master, Padmashree Ustad Moinuddin Khan.
I have seen the dedication and unwavering dedication to the Sarangi.
I consider myself blessed to have a father and a teacher.
I was me today just because of him.
As a father, he was very loving, kind and attentive, but as a teacher, he has treated me the same as any other student.
2020 very hard and taught us all so much.
What is your biggest takeaway?
Nothing is more important than love, care, compassion and open our hearts to one another.
This is the only way humanity can tide over difficult times.
This pandemic has proven that strangers have gone out of their way to help a stranger.
The rich and the poor, irrespective of caste, color and creed, have contributed to help those affected.
A big applause to the medical fraternity, city staff and health care, police, government agencies, NGOs, etc., which has ensured the welfare of society.
Each message you want to give to the novice musician?
If the music is really your passion, then no matter what difficulties come your way, you have to remain terdeteran and continue to pursue your passion.
Success must follow.
What’s next?
I have some interesting projects that I was working.
The climax was there where I had the opportunity to work with Sonu Nigam Ji.
I can not share more details now.
Then, I had a concert in Dubai in January 2022.
