New Delhi: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has been about the Modi Government, by saying that the planned monetization plan announced on Monday was intended to create a monopoly in the main sectors.
This happened after Minister of Finance Nirmala Sitharaman launched the National Monetization Pipleine, a four-year road map for monetizing the 6-Lakh RS crore assets.
Gandhi said the move would kill the work and benefit ‘some of the mod industrialist friends.’ He tried to fight the allegations that BJP often flattened, that the Congress had not made enough for the country during a better part of 70 years since independence when in power.
“BJP said nothing happened in India for 70 years, but now all the assets made in 70 years are sold,” Rahul said.
The Modi government is in the process of selling the Indian ‘Crown Permata’ built by the previous government with public money for 70 years, he added.

Most of this will go through brownfield assets from the central ministry and public sector entities throughout the road, train and power.
FM explained that the plan of the Minister of Finance during yesterday’s announcement was to clarify that the asset monetization plan only involved Brownfield and not land projects and also promised to provide incentives to countries to invest and monetize assets.
25 Airport Authority Airports (AAI) Airports, including those in Chennai, Bhopal, Varanasi and Vadodara, and 40 train stations, 15 railway stadiums and unknown train colonies have been identified to get personal investment.
Sitharaman said this center will provide incentives to countries to invest in PSU investment and monetizing assets and outlining plans three points.
Countries, which collect money through the development of the state PSU or give up control, will be given the same amount as the center.
