Mumbai: Former Minister of Home Maharashtra Anil Deshmukh was arrested by the Directorate of Enforcement Monday night after more than 12 hours questions in his office in the Ballard Estate.
He had appeared before the agency to record his statement around noon three days after Bombay HC rejected his request to cancel the agency call in the washing case filed to him.
He has avoided the question by ED for months and has spent his legal medicine.
In recent months, Ed has raided several places to track Deshmukh, but in vain.
