Jaipur: Chairman of the Ashok Minister Gehlot on Thursday directed by the Public Works Department official (PWD) to ensure quality and monitoring during road construction.
Gehlot handles the PWD review meeting held at his residence.
He instructed officials to do road work that could not be driven based on priority and said that where the situation was worse, repairing work must be done first.
Officials were asked to ensure timely road repairs in the default accountability period.
Gehlot said in the past three years, road construction and repairs worth around RS 20,000 Crore have been announced.
“There is no shortage of road construction announcements in each district.
Road work worth RS 5 Crore is being carried out in every region of MLA,” he said.
The main secretary of PWD Rajesh Yadav provides detailed information about the progress of the budget announcement.
He said after CM instructions, bad road surveys in the state were carried out.
