New Delhi: There is no effort on the Indian or Chinese side to occupy the regions in the East Ladakh from where they escaped in February and both parties were involved in talks to resolve the remaining problems in the region, the army said on Wednesday.
The army said that he had monitored activities by the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) including the change of troops in the region.
The army made a comment as part of a statement that made media reports that said the Chinese military had returned to the actual (LAC) control line in East Ladakh in several places and that at least there was a clash between the two sides.
“Since the release agreement in February this year, there has been no effort by both parties to occupy the area where the release has been carried out.
There are no clashes in Galwan or other regions, as reported in the article,” said the army.
It was also said that the report stated that the agreement with China had collapsed was “False and Based on”.
“Both parties continue to negotiate to solve balance problems, and regular patrols in each region continue.
The situation on land continues to be up to now.
PLA activities, including the change of troops continued to be monitored by Indian soldiers,” the army.
said.
India and China have been locked in military deadlocks at several friction points in East Ladakh since the beginning of May last year.
Both parties completed the withdrawal of troops and weapons from the north and South Bank of Lake Pangong in February after a series of military and diplomatic talks.
Both parties are now involved in the conversation to extend the release process to the remaining friction point.
There was no advanced movement seen in the release of troops at the remaining friction point because the Chinese did not show flexibility in their approach above the 11th round of military talks.
