Monks who sell their sports car choose Hindu marriage

Ahmedabad: His life was fertile with luxury in Germany – he drove a magnificent sports car, ate at the best restaurant, and lived in a luxury house.
But he ignored a high life in an instant to find meaning in spiritual life.
On his way, Chris Muller met Julia Ukhwakatina, a school teacher from Russia who was also an expert in yoga.
They ran with each other in Vietnam and were bound for years.
On Sunday, residents of Sarodiya Village in Himmatnagar watched a unique marriage.
Muller and Ukhwakatina walked in the steps of saptapadi and married in a Hindu ceremony with rituals and vaidik spells.
Mueller has traveled to every continent of the world.
He has lived with the Amazon and Maasais African shamans.
He said he chose India as his wedding destination because he felt at home here.
“I don’t feel at home in my country.
Spirituality is not a big thing there,” Mueller said.
“Also, the Western marriage is materialistic and shallow.
India is my spiritual house.” Mueller said India might not be developed in material terms as many other countries in the West but ‘too spentful’ in the spiritual context.
After studying the spiritual science of Bhagwan’s chest from the deceased Gyani Purush Kanudadaji in 2019, the couple planned to marry Hindu ways.
They believe that it is necessary to maintain a saleh and durable relationship, said Lalabhai Patel, a follower of Bhagwan’s chest.
The couple visited Sarodiya Village where Patel lived and fell in love with that place and the people.
“It’s amazing to see how people tie each other in the village.
Some families have three generations living under one roof,” Mueller said.
When a partner’s parents can’t attend a wedding because of restrictions on trips in the middle of a pandemic, Patel and his wife played the role of Baptist clown at the ceremony.
The wedding procession changed from Sarodiya to Bavsar nearby, where the villagers hosted the bride.
The bride and groom looked at Puja Ganesh, Kunyit Ceremony, and Saptapadi and other rituals.
They play Garba and touch the feet of the elders for blessings, said Bhagirath Patel, son of Lalabhai Patel and a close friend of Mueller.
Given the time when he decided to give up his luxurious life and pursuing his search for ‘inner peace’ Mueller said it happened to him when he was around 23 years old.
“I sat in my penthous, having all the materialistic wealth but I was still.
Feel miserable.
I face health problems and not peaceful,” he said.
“I sell my sporting car, hand over my luxurious lifestyle, and start traveling to the world to find my mind.” Initially, he had some worries about visiting India but his doubts were canceled as soon as he came to the country.
Also, Ukhwakatina has been to India and has spent three years here before, encouraging him to travel.
“When I landed in India I knew I was home,” he remembered.
At present, Mueller is CEO and Founder of Spiratio UG and Inner Living Private Ltd which offers consultation and coaching in personal growth and inner development.
He also held a seminar and carried out workshops about breathing techniques.
