Ranchi: Southwest monsoon rains are predicted to put in over Jharkhand between June 15 and June 18 this season, the Ranchi division of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Thursday.
The statement came following the IMD’s New Delhi quarters officially notified the beginning of monsoon over Kerala in the day.
The monsoon currents have been predicted to proceed inland towards Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karnataka and parts of south east and Central Bay of Bengal at the following 48 hours, the IMD said.
