Jaipur: The resurrection of the Southwest Monsun continues to carry a shower throughout the state on Tuesday with many places in the Udaipur and City division watching light until heavy rainfall all day with estimates for more days.
Jaipur Met Office said the ongoing spell will continue for the next three days in the state with a widespread rainfall activity.
Two men pushed cars trapped on the road flooded in Sikar on Tuesdaybari (Dholpur) received 80mm rain, the highest in the state, Weathermen said.
Connecting the resurrection of the monsoon to activate the north wind and a higher level of moisture, Jaipur Met Office said Monsoon would be active for the next few days.
“Southwest Monsun will be active at least for the next three days when several places in the Udaipur and City Division tend to get light to a heavy shower.
The best part is that monsoon activities will be truly widespread in the state,” said an officer with Jaipur Met Office.
People at Jaipur also witnessed a drizzle in a scattered form that continued throughout the day.

“More than 15 districts are still in the category of rainfall deficits while the majority of the reservoir has not reached a level of 90 percent or above the surface of the water.
