Hyderabad: Southwest Monsun slowly revived in Telangana because the city received light rain of up to 33 mm on Tuesday.
Under the influence of the expanded trough from Madhya Pradesh and the neighboring area to the Bay of Bengal, many parts of Telangana tend to receive light to the next four days.
According to Telangana State Development Society (TSDPS), Macha Bollarum recorded 33.5 mm rainfall to 7 nights.
Many other regions in the Central, East and North Corridor recorded heavy rains 10-30 mm.
Even when the southwest monsoon revived Telangana, the analysis by TSDPS shows that the state has recorded a 45% rainfall deficit for August.
The TSDPS figure shows that Telangana has recorded 95.2 mm rain in August as far as possible against normal 171.7 mm at the moment.
Last year, Telangana has recorded rain 368.6 mm in August.
However, this year, due to a prolonged break in Southwest Monsoon, the rainfall activity above the country was subdued.
