Lucknow: It is expected to be a storm, the Legislative Monsun Session Uttar Pradesh which began on Tuesday it could end with three days of affairs because the business advisory committee has decided to advance additional budget elections from August 24 to August 19.
Additional budgets are likely to be submitted on Wednesday because the first day can see the delay after the house paid homage to its members who died recently.
The speaker was looking for an OPTN assistance for the process of making a smooth house, at meeting all parties, Speaker Hriday Narayan Dixit urged all party members to ensure that the house went smoothly.
The speakers refer to several home processes from various countries to motivate party members for a hassle-free session.
The meeting was attended by the chairman of Yogi Minister Adyityath, Suresh Khanna Parliament Minister, Narendra Varma who replaced the opposition RAM Govind Chaudhary, the newly appointed BSP leader in the house, Shah Alam aka Guddu Jamali, Leader of Congress Aradhana Misra-Mona, Sbsp Leader Om Prakash Rajbhar and Apna Dal’s Leena Tiwari.
Opposition, however, is likely to corner the government about legal and order issues, price increases, people’s death during the corona pandemic because of lack of supply / oxygen drugs and farmers’ problems etc.
The Congress of the Legislative Party leader Aradhana Misra-Mona told the Toi that he urged the speaker to discuss the issue of public interest.
“However, the government seems to be not interested in running a house because it has increased voting on the additional budget from August 24 to August 19,” he said.
“We will try to increase the problem of public concerns even if the government shows reluctance,” Mona said.
Rajbhar said that while the main minister had claimed that he believed that houses had to function for at least 90 days a year, they had advanced voting dates on additional budgets because they did not seriously run the house.
“Suheldev will increase the problem of scholarships to the backward class and also demand discussions about the Samjik Samiti,” said Rajbhar.
Even when Covid-19 cases down in the state, media restrictions in the house will remain as they have done in the previous session.
Media people will only be able to sit in the center hall and watch the trial on the television set.
The speaker told the Toi that the problem appeared for discussion at the All-Party meeting.
However, the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Suresh Khanna said that it would be the interest of everyone that only members were allowed in the Assembly.
All members will take alternative seats to maintain social distance, he said.
The government tends to capture some procedures and bills on August 18 and also on August 19.
