PANAJI: Conditions change profitable for further withdrawals from the West-West Monsun of the remaining part of the country from October 23, the Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) said on Wednesday.
At present the condition is profitable for further withdrawals from Southwest Monsun from Northeast India; The entire north bay of Bengal, the rest of the West Bengal, several parts of the middle of Bengal, the rest of the Odisha, some parts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, throughout the cave, some parts of Karnataka and several parts of the Central Arab sea in October 23.
“The rainfall activities have not stopped in close areas such as Karnataka and several parts of Telangana.
These areas are expected to experience a withdrawal of rainfall,” said IMD scientist Rahul M.
Monsun’s withdrawal was postponed this year due to the formation of a recent low pressure area formed at along the coast of Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha.
The movement of the system is in the north-west and followed by rainfall activity in the Telangana region.
Now the withdrawal line is expected to come even to the northern part of Karnataka.
The date of normal withdrawal for Goa is October 14 while the fully withdrawal of the rainy season in India took place on October 15.
However, this year’s postponement is not the most delayed monsoon.
In 2020 the rainy season resigned from Goa on October 28 while in 2019 it resigned on October 16.
In 2018 the withdrawal date was October 25.
The IMD has also expected light rainfall activities on October 22 and 23.
