Monsoon, who is currently in the ‘rest phase’ in most countries except East India and the Northeast, is likely to live gradually in the South Peninsula, including the west coast and side by side with East India from July 8.
“Moist sea breeze at a lower level of the Bay of Bengal is likely to be gradually determined in the parts of East India from July 8 and so on.
It is likely to spread to northwestern India which includes Punjab and North Haryana on July 10,” said IMD, noted that the weather system is very possible to cause “increased rainfall activity” in the northwest and Central India from July 10.
