Jaipur: Southwest Monsun is likely to rise again in all states from Wednesday and so on with the number of places in the Udaipur and City Division which tends to get rainfall.
Monsun has avoided the country for more than a week now.
When the moisture level increased gradually and approached up to 90% and above, the authorities at Jaipur Met Office said in the next 48 hours, several places in the Udaipur and City Division will get rainfall.
“There is a possibility of rainfall in the Division of Jaipur and Ajmer from August 20 and so on,” said an officer with Jaipur Met Office.
Connecting the resurrection of the Monsun to a low pressure area in Bengal Bay, Weatherman said the fourth spell will bring good rainfall in many districts including Jalore, Sirohi, Rajsamand, Jaipur, Kota, Ajmer, Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Alwar and Bharatpur.
Meanwhile, in the absence of rainfall, Mercury continued to take the swing up throughout the state.
On Monday, the moisture level in various parts of the country is between 80% and 90%.
“When the humidity level increases and the east wind is back, the state will see the resurrection of the Monsun,” the officer added.
This season so far, Jaipur has a good third monsoon spell.
“Actually, the first two spells in the state are not so good.
But the third spell brings abundant rainfall in the state.
Hopefully, the fourth and final mantra will bring good rainfall especially in the districts where rainfall has deficit , “The officer said.
Jaipur Met Office said several places in the City Division and Udaipur would get a light shower on Tuesday.
