The National Education and Education Research and Training Council (NCERT) aims to strengthen the student academic base through a massive open online course (MOOCS) available on the Swayam portal launched in 2017.
The council for inspection of the Indian School Certificate (CISCE) has recently released notifications Call students study in schools affiliated to enroll in this MOOC course.
Speaking to Times Education, Amarendra P Behera, Joint Director, Central Education Technology Institute (CIET), NCERT, said, “Given the academic loss of students because of recurrent school closure because Covid, we have developed 28 MOOCs for class XI and XII students who will Become a digital source.
This will help prepare professional courses and in their terminal and internal exams.

This MOOOC course contains textual modules, video modules, assessment questions that have been prepared by schools, colleges and university teachers.
Students can post questions, comments and observations on each topic, and remove their doubts with the teacher in the discussion forum.

“Each module from the MOOOC course has an assessment question to assess the progress and understanding of the level of students.

Ncert plans to immediately enter humanities, home science, physical education and vocational education.
