More BRT Paths to Start from Now

Surat: The Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) has made a decision to resume services below the Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) by Wednesday.According into SMC officers, that the BRT public transportation service has been suspended in March subsequent spike in Covid-19 instances. Considering that the Covid-19 scenario has skyrocketed over the previous weeks, the civic body chose to re-start public transportation services at a midsize manner.Currently, SMC runs 83 BRT buses about five paths. With the inclusion of new paths from Wednesday, a total of 143 buses are working on the committed corridors of all Diamond City.The BRT paths to start from Wednesday comprise Sarthana Nature Park into Sachin Railway channel, Jahangirpura Community Hall into Pandesara GIDC along with Kosad EWS into Sarthana Nature Park. “Many people travelling will need to compulsorily put on a face mask and also keep social bookmarking,” that an SMC official stated.
