NEW DELHI: Days later 40 Bnei Menashe Jews out of Manipur — headed to Israel — tested positive for Covid-19 and have been announced to Guru Tegh Bahadur Covid Care Centre at Delhi, 40 more members by exactly the identical group of approximately 125 people also tested positive and have been admitted to the identical centre on Thursday.
The center is run by Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC).

Over the past 15 decades, members in the Bnei Menashe Jewish neighborhood — believed to be part of their Menashi tribe at Israel –‘ve gradually been emigrating to Israel.
There are thought to be almost 10,000 members of this Jewish community from India’s neighboring states.
Officials said the team was traveling to Israel so as to settle down and gain citizenship.
