Panaji: In an effort to strengthen the anti-terror squad (ATS), Goa police have launched a boost to induce more command into the police unit.
Of the 20 police stopped being implemented, 14 had cleared physical tests.
After concluding the final selection round, Constable will be sent to the National Security Guards Training Center (NSG) in Haryana for three months.
“Fourteen of the 20 applicants clean the skills test including running 5 km in 25 minutes and 100 m in 15 seconds, pull-up, chin-up and shuttle-running,” said a senior police officer.
ATS currently has 90 commands.
Senior officers said that after the police department decided to cancel the previous decision to slap 35 personnel who were trained at the police training center, he called for applications from the police who seek to join ATS.
Furthermore, 20 police showed interest.
Indicates that Goa often accepts terror warnings because this is the international tourist destination, officers say that adding to the forces will help cover the entire state if a terror related problem occurs.
Meanwhile, ATS did an 8 km run test for the command of Dona Paula to the GRP camp at Altinho.
All commanders completed a good and unscathed period of time.
