Thiruvananthapuram: Announcement of the new KPCC office carrier was postponed further because high orders were not happy with the list filed by KPCC leadership.
The list submitted by state leadership is still with AICC General Secretary of Tariq Anwar and has not been submitted to the party president for final approval.
This list was sent after a detailed consultation with senior party leaders, including group leaders.
It is lowned that the high commander is not happy that many leaders being accommodated in the list are those who are defeated in the election of assembly or other people who are Mola in the past.
High orders are studied to request state leadership to accommodate more women in the list.
The source said this list only has three, which cannot be accepted by high orders.
The groups have pressed to ensure their nomination and hence KPCC leadership cannot make the last call.
The ‘i’ and ‘A’ group nomination for Vice President Post has become another barrier because the high command is studied to reject the names proposed by the group.
Therefore, talks are also active to replace these leaders.
Now, state leadership has once again to complete the name.
However, leaders in the state do not understand who all will be on the last list.
The ‘A and I’ group has sent a list of their nominations to be included in various posts and now group leaders don’t realize who all gets the last nod.
The group leader accused that there was no final decision or the final list was being discussed with senior party leaders.
They worry that the command of the high party did not listen to their complaints.
Even after VM Sudheeran resigned from the Political Affairs Committee and AICC membership, the High Command did not take steps to calm him down.
