More landslides in Himachal, CHD-Manali Links are blocked

Shimla: Reports of landslides continue to roll from several parts of Himachal Pradesh.
National Highway Chandigarh-Manali is blocked near Pandoh in the Bath district because of landslides in 7 miles and 4 miles.
Falling large stones damaged two vehicles but fortunately no loss of life was reported in the incident.
According to the Ministry of India Meteorology, the rainfall for July was 289.1 mm with departure from normal rainfall (273.0 mm) 6%.
In the state, the highest rainfall of 309.3mm (7%) in July was recorded in 2005.
Another incident of landslides in the NH-305 in the Khanag area in the Anni sub-division in Kullu Regency was reported because traffic was blocked.
The authorities have pressed the man and the machine became a service to reopen the blocked road.
At Kinnaur, Longlide was reported in Plingi Nichar Road.
In the Chamba district, landslides triggered Rockslide at Panela Zero Point Sarotha Nullah because of which police officials suggested commuters to reach this Chamba to reach Chamba.
Unrelenting rainfall in many parts of the country has made hilly and slippery swamps.
Bad visibility in the middle of the fog also makes driving at risk, so the authorities have asked the driver to drive carefully and to turn on the lamp for all people’s safety.
In Lahail-Spitial District, NH-505 is blocked near canceled because of Rockslides.
District administration works to clean the road and official said it would take around 3-4 hours to clear the road.
Those traveling to Jalan Gramphu-Batur-Chandertal-Lossar-Kaza are advised to avoid taking this route.
According to the Ministry of India’s Meteorology, from 12 districts, Kullu received great rainfall in July, Hamirpur and Kangra received excess rainfall, biaspur, kinnaur, bathing, Shimla, Senisa, Una and Solan received normal rainfall, and Chamba and Lahaul -Spiti received less rainfall.
The total number of three active wet spells of the monsoon flow arrived at Himachal Pradesh which provided light to moderate rainfall in most days.
