More patients vaccinated at Kolkata Hospital

Kolkata: Covid patients who were fully vaccinated claimed at Kolkata’s private hospital now exceeded their number that had a single dose or not at all despite the severity of the most prominent infection among those in the last group.
The doctor said the breakthrough infection (covid despite inoculation) is expected but the amount will remain small proportionally with the total amount affected and the death rate between them will be much lower than those who receive the dose.
Indicates that some patients who are fully vaccinated have symptoms that threaten life, doctors say that anxiety often leads family members to make them claim and this should not be interpreted as a vaccine failure.
At Woodlands Hospital, nine of 15 Covid patients now claimed to have taken both vaccine doses, said the executive director of Basu.
“Two patients have taken a single dose and four have not taken a shot.
The severity varies according to the number of doses and who has not received the most affected dose,” said Basu.
Five of the nine Covid patients at Belle Vue Clinic had got both vaccines.
Three had one shot.
At Cmri Hospital, of 15 covid patients, nine had resolved their vaccination while three had received their first dose.
The other three don’t have a vaccine.
One third of the 21 patients who admitted at Medica Superspecialty hospital had received both doses.
The majority of the rest have one shot and a little among those who suffer from severe illness, said Chairson Medica Alok Roy.
Alok Roy Medica said, “The numbers increase very slowly and because almost everyone in Kolkata has at least one dose, infection so far is light,” Of 34 Covid patients now admit in three units of AMRI Hospital, 18 is in Uya.
Here, the majority are those who only get one Jab.
“About 30% of our patients have completed their vaccination while 60% have received a single dose.
The remaining 10% have not been injected.
Despite double vaccination, some suffer from moderate to severe disease.
But the total number of patients remains stable and quite small,” said CEO Amri Rupak Barua.
“Despite multiple vaccination, some have symptoms such as high fever, diarrhea and smell loss that lead to anxiety among family members who do not want to take risks.
These patients do not have severe diseases or symptoms that threaten souls such as depressed breath or lung fibrosis Lung, thanks to the vaccine.
So, I will not interpret this as a vaccine failure, “said Director of Pulmonology Raja Dhar.
Six of eight patients received at the RN Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences (RTIICS) were multiple vaccination.
“We have 5 patients in the general ward, among them four have received both shots.
Two out of three of the three in critical care doubled,” said Zonal Head RTIICS R Venkatesh.
At Peerless Hospital, nine of 22 patients had resolved their vaccination, seven had received their first dose and six had not been inoculated.
Instead of the number of patients, it is the number of victims who must be watched after vaccination, leading to all the Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (IPGMER) Professor Diptendra Sarkar.
“The breakthrough infection will continue but the amount will remain small due to vaccination.
The most important thing, the severity of the disease will be less and there will be far less death than what we have seen during the second wave,” said Sarkar.
