Nagpur: Vidarbha region reported fewer cases of Covid-19 than the recovery for the second day in a row.
With 18 new cases and 21 patients recovered on Friday, lack of exercise reduced the number of patients to 109 in the region.
The majority of these patients are in home isolation.
Nagpur district reported three new cases of the 3,521 tests performed in the last 24 hours.
After reporting more than 10 new cases earlier this week, that number back down in the district.
Out of the three patients Friday, two are from the city and one from another country.
Now, Nagpur have 31 patients in the treatment, which is the highest in Vidarbha region.
Chandrapur, after recording eight new cases on Friday, now has 25 patients in treatment.
All other counties in the region have fewer than 20 patients – eight of them have fewer than 10 active cases.
Overall, 8,481 tests were conducted in the region.
With 18 of them positive, test positivity level is at 0.21%.
No deaths were reported Covid-19 on Friday anywhere in Vidarbha.
Overall, five deaths Covid-19 have been reported so far this month, which was the lowest since May 2020.
Amravati: None of the 218 samples tested were found positive on Friday.
No recovery and no deaths, the number of active cases remained at five.
Yavatmal District have no reports of death on Friday, keeping repulsion unchanged at 1,787.
There are currently six patients who were on treatment.
Administration receives 307 test reports, the two found positive.
Of the 72 901 patients so far, 71 108 – including two on Friday – has been recovered.
The level of test positivity was 9.66%, the mortality rate was 2.45% and the rate of daily positivity was 0.65%.

With three patients recovered on Friday, 56 729 have been recovered in all.
The death toll is 1,139 Akola.

Buldhana: For the 15th time in the last four weeks, Buldhana reported zero new cases Covid-19 in 24 hours.
