New Delhi: Secretary, Biotechnology Department, Indian Government Dr.
Renu Swarup said that the drug controller of India has given permission to Christian Medical College, Vellore to start the trial of mixing the Covid-19 vaccine while adding that there is a need of more scientific data to get more Lots of clarity.
The next vaccine in the pipe is Zycov-D and biological e Corbevax Zydus Cadila, said Dr.
Renu in an interview with Ani.
“DCGI has given permission to CMC Vellore to start experiments on mixing vaccines.
Some of these studies have begun.
We need more scientific data to get more clarity,” Dr.
Renu said.
“Biological e is very advanced in the trial.
Their vaccine manufacturing parally is ongoing.
When the vaccine will be completely launched depending on a number of things.
We are sure to be good so far has shown very interesting results,” further, Dr.
Renu.
