Coimbatore: Fresh restrictions will be charged in the district if the Daily Covid case continues to increase, the GS Sameran collector said on Saturday.
“District administration supports more relaxation, but has increased new cases for the past four days.
Furthermore, from 42,000 strange cases reported throughout the country, 32,000 were reported in neighboring countries Kerala.
Consider increasing cases, post checks bordering Kerala have been placed on high standby.
Officials are very monitoring those who enter the district of Kerala in 13 places and only those who have a negative RT-PCR certificate or those who have taken two covid vaccine doses are allowed to enter coimbatore.
Only those who travel for medical emergencies are excluded, but they have to undergo an RT-PCR test.
Actually the lakh vaccine dose is given to those who often travel to Kerala for the need for work in the last few days of administration being in talks with Palakkad and the administration of the Malappuram district to vaccinate coimbatore-based college students.
“If they have taken their first dose in Kerala, they will be given the second dose on campus,” the collector said.
Like 22.20 the dose of the lakh vaccine has been given in the district so far and 71% vaccine offered by government facilities.
More vaccination camps will be carried out in the coming days, where preferences will be given to those caused by the second dose, SamePan added.
