More sops to Renew tourism

Thiruvananthapuram: Finance Union K Balagopal stated that a loan amounting to Rs 400 crore will be procured by KFC for mobilizing operating funds in the tourism industry that is fighting to renew after the debilitating effect of Covid-19.
Along with the current supply of Rs 100 crore, the revised funding allowed Rs 50 crore to tourism section for promotion.
Loan payable to Rs 400 crore will be made accessible through KFC for more more operating capital in the tourism industry.
Amphibian vehicles, which proceed in water and on soil, will be found.
It’ll be launched in Kollam, Kochi, Thalassery areas in the very first stage.
This project is going to be implemented in a cost of Rs 5 crore.
The minister stated that the spread of Covid has been a drawback to the tourism industry.
“Tourism is a vital business from the GSDP of this nation.
This sector offers employment to five lakh people right and 20 lakh people .
At the very first stage of Covid propagate, the worldwide tourism industry saw a decrease of roughly 80 percent.
This has revealed from the Kerala market too.
