More stringent imposition of fresh covid norms in Maha

Aurangabad: In the midst of the introduction of fresh sidewalks, the police have begun to prepare for the implementation of more stringent norms, including to maintain an examination of the movement of residents and unwanted businesses during limited hours.
Police officials have instructed that no power must be used against violators, but only strict legal actions must be taken.
Learning from previous experiences, officials from police, civil bodies, district health and administrative departments were found to take steps to ensure close coordination in middle and low-staircase employees.
Aurangabad City Police will emphasize wearing masks, maintaining social distance norms.
Police Commissioner Nikhil Gupta said instructions had been given to police personnel to ensure the implementation of the guidelines, without violating the norms themselves.
This time, the city is ready to have a higher number of fixed checkpoints and a patrol team.
“The police will also ensure motorists wear helmets or seabelts,” Gupta said.
He said that only in cases of emergency, residents will be allowed to move during limited hours.
Jalna District, Beed, Nanded, Parbhani, among others who have imposed restrictions on inter-district movements.
Osmanabad Police Inspector Raj Tilak Roushan said, “In addition to increasing the examination of inter-district movements, our focus will be more on the movement in the country’s border area.” Nanded has recorded a large number of Covid cases and victims in two waves, so extra prevention measures were taken there.
Senior police officials have decided to ensure the imposition of strict norms even in rural areas.
Inspector Nanded Police Pramodkumar Shewale said, “This time our officers from all hierarchies will be in the field.
The police will not use strength to anyone who caught violating the norm, but strict legal actions will be taken including violation registration.”
