Ranchi: Covid-19 Cases recently in all countries found less severe and most patients asymptomatic, according to numbers issued by the State Health Department on Wednesday.
The release only said that 4.10% of patients in the country were simtomatic while 3.23% of them were treated in government or personal facilities for treatment.
Despite fewer patients who turned symptomatic, four districts in Jharkhand have a large number of symptomatic patients and by chance these districts are where the level of pollution because mining is known high.
Dhanbad with 16.53%, West Singhbhum with 13%, waste with 11.84% and girow with 11.76% of patients symptoms of graphics while Sahable did not have symptomatic patients and the figure was as low as 0.41% in the championship and 0.56 %.
Head, Covid State Center at Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS), Dr.
Pradeep Bhattacharya, said there was a possibility that people suffer from existing respiratory conditions in industrial cities or those known to have poor air quality.
“Although this can be one reason for more people as a symptom in Dhanbad and Girech, how data has been collected and reported is also important.
If there is no pre-fixed criteria of the symptoms of reporting – interpretation can be wrong,” he said.
Although the number of high symptomatic patients in four districts, no patients in this district received in hospitals in the beds supported by oxygen.
All patients who are on the bed supported by oxygen are in the East Singhbhum and Ranchi where the section of symptomatic patients is 6.62% and 2.07% indicate that although simptomatic, patients in the mining district are not sick, preventive, and treatment Social (PSM) in Rims, Dr.
Devesh Kumar also throws doubts about the numbers of patients without symptoms.
“It’s hard to believe that 96% of positive patients Covid doesn’t show symptoms because what needs them to be tested? Deciding symptoms depends on the doctor who is treated and maybe they don’t consider itchy fever or throat as a symptom in some cases,” he said.
