Chennai: More MBBS-Aspiran TN has cleaned down this year’s NEET, although the percentage of pass has seen a mild decline.
1.08 lakh who wrote Neet this year, 58,922 has accessed the qualification exam.
Although this was a 54.4% pass, it was 57.4% last year, when 57,216 students cleared the test.
The number of high goals scorers has increased this year, making competition for MBBs chairs harder than last year.
Among the top 50,000 national rank holders, the number of TN students has increased to 2,874 this year, such as opposing 2,747 years ago.
Among 1 lakh top ranking holders, the number of Tamil Nadu students increased to 6,144 this year from 6,086 years ago.
The number of state council students between the top 1 lakh declined slightly this year – to 3,447 from 3,500 years ago.
With performance to more or less the same as last year, and Tamil Nadu has an additional MBBS seats at 11 new government medical colleges, experts predict a slight cut-off decline for various categories this year.
SK Prasenjethan from Chennai, R Arvind of Thanjavur, Geethanjali S and M Pravin from Namakkal have scored 710 of 720 marks.
While Geethanjali ranked 23-India and Pravin ranked 30th, and Prasenjethan and Arvind guarantee ranked 43rd in India.

“I concentrated on the completion of the Neet Question Papers in the past two years, after completing the necessary syllabus.
I took the mock test once a week and analyzed the reason for the test results.
This method helped me reach my target,” said Arvind.
Prasaminan wants to join AIIM in New Delhi.
“I have decided to join AIIMS because I have secured a rating in the top 50 at the national level,” he told Toi.
He was trained at the Aakash Institute.
Another topper from the city, Hayaagrivas MB, which scored 705 Mark 720 and got all the 56th rank India also wanted to join AIIMS or JIPMER.
Sanjay Gandhi, Deputy Director, Aakash Institute in Chennai, said the awareness of AIIM and other institutes have increased between toppers.
“The performance of our students in NEET 2021 has doubled compared to the previous year.
A total of 91 students get a score of 650 marks from all states and 201 students have scored above 600 marks from our institution in the state,” he added.
