Pune: A total of 710 people recovered from Covid-19 infection in Pune Metropolitan region (PMR) on Wednesday compared with 1,133 new cases, each taking total release and detection to more than 10.82 lakh and 11.09 lakh, so far .
In addition, 17 patients surrendered to Covid’s related complications in PMR in the last 24 hours, taking a total of dead to 18,626, stating the Covid -19 daily report issued by the district health department.
The total active case remains below 10,000 even on Wednesday.
These include 4,137 patients undergoing hospital treatment at PMR and 3,939 in house isolation.
Rural areas reported 489 highest cases on Wednesday, followed by the City Limit Pune (399) and the Limit of the Municipal Pimpri Chinchwad (154).
Other areas in this region such as the limits of the City Council and Cantonments each contributed 73 and 18 cases.
According to reports of death, comorbidity such as high blood pressure and heart disease causes health complications and ultimately cause death among covid patients.
