Beijing: More than 120,000 people have been evacuated while after the rain constantly triggered flooding in the North China Shanxi Province, said the authorities Sunday.
Floods have disrupted the life of 1.76 million people from 76 districts, cities and districts, according to the Provincial Emergency Management Department, Xinhua reported.
About 190,000 hectares of plants were damaged and more than 17,000 fainted houses, the department said.
The emergency management department of various levels has allocated 4,000 tents, 3,200 folding beds and cotton clothing and blankets for disaster assistance.
