More than 1.6 lakh people ordered because they did not wear a mask at TN

Chennai: State police ordered nearly 1.64 lakh people because they did not wear masks in public places throughout the state in the past week.
Chennai topped the list in Norma Covid’s violations, registering 43,417 cases and collecting an 86 lakh.
The northern zone of the country posted 40,148 people and collected 83 lakh alright.
At 1,552 locations throughout the state, 1,910 people were ordered because they did not follow social distance norms.
On Sunday, Chennai police conducted vehicle checks in various places.
Those who have copies of flight and train tickets are removed after verification, as well as those with an appointment with a doctor.
“Some stepping out for reasons such as visiting relatives, even though they are a kuncian,” said a police officer.
On Saturday night, the city police ordered 5,469 people for norm violations and collected a fine of 10.93 lakh.
The police also won 307 vehicles.
The city police have set 312 points checking in his jurisdiction to enforce the locking key night and mobilize 10,000 police personnel.
The Tamil Nadu government last week, expanded existing Covid-19 trucks until January 31 considering the increasing case.
