New Delhi: India on Friday reaches another milestone because more than 1 dose of Crore Prevention or Third Vaccine Shooting has been given to a qualified population.
“Under the leadership of Prime Minister @Narendra Modi Ji, the world’s largest vaccination campaign continues to leave new heights”, said Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya Tweeted.
“In just 19 days, more than 1 Crore prevention dose has been given to the forefront of health workers and workers and people who meet the requirements above 60+ age”.
According to the central government Cowin portal, a total of 1,02,90,374 preventive doses have been given among frontline workers, health workers and people over 60 years so far.
Drive to manage preventive doses begins throughout the country on January 10 for above 60.
With administration of more than 57 doses of the lakh vaccine in the last 24 hours, Indian Covid vaccination coverage has exceeded 164.44 crores.
