“We are targeting to arrange at least 400 oxygen generation factories in the state,” said Health Minister Raghu Sharma told toi.

In addition, the Ministry of Health has made it mandatory for private hospitals to establish an oxygen generation factory that has 60 beds or more.
Also, in rural areas, as many as 350 public health centers have been identified by the Ministry of Health, which will be developed in such a way that they will have facilities for Covid treatment including oxygen therapy.
For this purpose, the Ministry of Health now makes efforts to install an oxygen generation factory or if it is impossible, it ensures that CHCS must have sufficient amount of oxygen concentrator and supply oxygen cylinder.
These steps are taken by the Ministry of Health to remain ready for the third wave, which may appear in the coming months.
For this purpose, the Ministry of Health ensures sufficient stock of drugs, oxygen, and beds for covid patients along with other facilities needed in the hospital.
