More than 100 suffered injuries related to kites in Jaipur

Jaipur: More than 100 people reached the hospital in the city with kite-related injuries about Sankranti Makar on Friday.
Among them, four were received, while others were given first aid.
VIVAN (6) was rushed to SMS hospital with a serious head injury.
“He flew the kites and accidentally fell from the roof.
We have admitted him and he is now undergoing treatment,” said an administrative official of SMS Hospital.
Overall, 31 people were rushed to SMS hospitals with kite-related injuries.
A 10-year-old boy suffered a head injury after he fell from the roof while flying kites.
A 13-year-old child met with an accident when he flew the kite and suffered a leg fracture.
He has also been treated at SMS Hospital.
A 55-year-old woman was hospitalized after she suffered an injury at her feet because of the string of kites jerked.
“Of the 31 people were taken to hospital with kite-related injuries, 12 below 18,” the official said.
A 31-year-old person was rushed to the SMS hospital with a bloody neck.
He sustained a wound after String Manjha cut his neck as he rode a bicycle.
A 38-year-old child received a piece in the nose because of the string of kites jerked.
Yash Yogi (12) was taken to the hospital with an injury on his head.
SMS hospital officials said the operation theater at Trauma Center remained busy when the doctor gave stitches to people.
